When Johnnie Bright made a career shift from automotive equipment sales to real estate in the year 2000, he already knew something about working with people: “Always put the customer first”. Having owned and operated his own automotive repair business starting at the age of 19, Johnnie learned to make his customers’ needs his top business priority. Once he did this, everything else seemed to fall in place.
It is this solid customer service philosophy that has driven Johnnie to outstanding success as a representative for real estate buyers and sellers. Johnnie received an incredible 100% satisfaction Quality Service® rating from past customers as measured by a third party company. This is a distinct honor earned only by a handful of brokers out of the thousands of GMAC real estate brokers and agents nationwide. It is the highest level of service achievement in the real estate industry. Johnnie has also attained Premier Service® Certified Diamond Elite Status.
Certainly his commitment to ‘above and beyond’ customer service is also Johnnie’s secret to success in closing real estate transactions. He has been a top producer for Ammons Pittman GMAC every year since 2001. In 2005, 2006, and 2007 he was named the Top Single Sales Agent in his office and company-wide.
Johnnie’s ability to be so active in his industry serves as an asset to his clients. “As a top producer in the company,” Johnnie says, “I’m very hands-on with the market. I’m constantly studying the areas that my clients are interested in, looking at what are current-active listings, and monitoring what has sold.” This means that his clients get access to the best properties, the latest information, and the greatest potential for the best deals.
He enjoys representing both buyers and sellers, and seeing the process through to completion. “I do my best to go above and beyond what is expected, while helping people through the entire transaction, including the inspections, through to the closing handling any details that may arise. I consider it my personal responsibility to handle the details and any issues or problems that arise throughout the process.”
Johnnie was born and raised in Beaufort County, North Carolina. After running his own automotive repair business for 13 years, he and his family relocated to the Raleigh area where he worked in auto parts sales and management for 12 years. For the past 8 years, Johnnie has thrived in the real estate industry thanks to the same customer service philosophy and word-of-mouth referrals that created his earlier successes.
Johnnie enjoys spending time with his wife, Joan, who works with him in real estate. They have one daughter, 29, who also resides in the Triangle area. Outside Johnnie’s passion for his Real Estate business he also has a passion for street rods and muscle cars.
